Dear Visitor,
I sincerely appreciate your visit. Often, people who love photography still find it difficult to have access to the photographer“s work. I hope you find your time and dedication are well spent.
I“ve devoted these past thirty years to photography: a long lapse of time with several changes in my personal and professional lives. Somehow, these changes dictated my work topics. And so did my experiences, my readings, my getting-to-know other authors, their works, and new friends. These are the ingredients that make one“s personal universe and how one brings it to light.
From photojournalism to a unique piece, printed pictures to art photography. About the social and political events of Spain during the transitional years of the 70“s, the pictures of plants in the Alt Empordą region of Catalunya.
I hope my short commentary at the beginning of each collection helps you find your way among this array of approaches. And that you feel well informed and accompanied throughout your visit.
Collectionists may find to their liking that some of my collection photos are limited and numbered. Other collections are unlimited and numbered according to order placement: this reflects the, let“s say, non-private character of photos of events, or populated public spaces.
I usually have my color shots printed on Cibachrome by a well-known expert. Cibachrome is appreciated as the most stable and long-life support medium on the market of color pictures.
I am mostly attracted to black and white: I develop and print them myself. This is when the artist does it all from A to Z, from forwarding the image onto the film to giving it life on the end support. Any darkroom connaisseur knows that his lab is like his kitchen to the photographer. My own lab is small, so I develop my 50x60 cms. or larger pieces in an outside lab where I work in perfect tuning with my profesional friends.
I am very aware that this page offers limited space, that you may want additional and quicker information regarding ie. prices, or technical details, or again, that you may want to share your comments: please do not hesitate to contact me.
